East Akron Community House ("EACH") serves as a catalyst for positive social change by enriching and enhancing the quality of life for individuals and families.  Founded in 1911 as a settlement house for European immigrants, EACH has evolved with the community throughout its 100 years of existence.

The goal of EACH is to address neighborhood and community problems by making the lives of residents better through our expertise in four key areas: community programming & outreach initiatives; neighborhood organization & development; community green initiatives; and community safety.

We seek to be a point of integration for residents into the broader community through our initiatives and programs, which make our community a better place to live, learn, work, and play.
