The Homer L. Pettengill After School Program is an enrichment program for children ages six (6) to twelve (12). EACH program staff significantly impacts students by providing an educational outlet outside of the traditional classroom. Our After School Program provides a safe haven for students.
Program participants have an opportunity to experience a positive, inspirational, and stimulating learning environment while allowing students to acquire leadership skills outside the traditional classroom. These supervised educational reinforcement and enrichment activities enhance academic growth for program participants, many of whom may not have access to this much needed community service.
This program utilizes an innovative approach towards programming and helps youth make positive, healthy choices. Students enrolled in the program receive assistance with reading, English, and math. We prepare youth with skills for the future to succeeed in school and in life.
